Another variant of work visualisation is an obeya room: a space where strategy and programmes of work are made visible. An obeya room is the macro view, the “bridge of the ship”; whereas a Kanban board is a local view.

Announcing Leading the Open Enterprise

As fast as we think we are finishing one book, we identify another one to write.

We are working on the “Alpha” version of The Open Executive. There was an appendix in it on “how” that just got bigger and bigger.  At the same time, I developed How to Make Work Better, which included an executive journey.  So the appendix will be a large part of a new book as a sequel to The Open Executive, called The Open Executive Journey renamed already: Leading the Open Enterprise (still a provisional title).  Look for it, probably in 2025.
