I’m still sure that consulting, coaching, and training are better in person. Virtual is adequate for most things. That’s not the same as optimal. Virtual is good for some things and better only for very few things.Virtual is good for the mundane. It is better at turning service into a commodity.
Trying to create a sense of community, sharing, safety in a group of strangers in a virtual setting is very very hard.
Immersing them in an intense experience that changes minds is impossible. So too is spending quality time with someone.
High value work can only be done when present.
