At Teal Unicorn, we create content about better ways of managing and working.
It is wildly effective, proven by us at over 20 clients now, from 10 to 10,000 staff in a range of industries; and proven by hundreds of other progressive organisations around the world.
We share it for free. No strings attached, no selling. The hard part is getting people to look.
It’s like leaving candy on the doorstep. Nobody believes or trusts it.
Maybe we need to be secretive and charge a fortune for it.
And we aren’t alone in our results of course.
Evan Leybourn says in the latest Business Agility Institute newsletter:
“human-centric organizations create greater financial returns with a more engaged workforce… We published the 7th annual Business Agility Report at the end of last year… out of 266 companies that took part, we found 123 organizations with public financial data… Organizations that increased their business agility maturity saw revenue per employee increase by 31% year-over-year (on average). Meanwhile, those organizations whose maturity in business agility decreased over that period saw a much smaller increase—8% year-over-year (on average)… Glassdoor® scores… Organizations that increased their business agility maturity saw a 10% increase (on average) in the number of people who “would recommend this organization to a friend”. While those organizations whose maturity in business agility decreased over that period saw a decrease of 4% year-over-year (on average)”
In their book Humanocracy, Hamel and Zanini presented analysis to show there are trillions of dollars of latent productivity just lying on the table for anyone who wants them, wasted.
Some days I ponder just what does it take.
