Remote working can present some new challenges, such as the commute.
In January 2021, the Teal Unicorn team (Dr Cherry Vu and Rob England) went to our cabin in NZ’s remote Craigieburn Valley, for some post-2020 healing (and a few visits from family and friends).
Dr Vu still had clients in Vietnam to serve remotely, so every few days we walked and drove back out, to find a good spot for remote working.
Once we got back out to signal reception, we could run Zoom sessions from an Android phone wifi hotspot over 4G, with Logitech webcam and mic, with power from a 300W inverter in the car.
But first we had to get there…
