Agile: don’t work faster, do less.
Do high quality work: prevent unplanned work and rework.
Do only the valuable features: don’t over-produce.
Do only the minimum necessary: don’t over-engineer.
Do small, frequent increments: adjust quickly.
Do only at the last responsible moment: avoid rework or obsolescence.
Don’t do wasteful effort: optimise flow.
The idea of “faster” misleads thinking into:
Overburden: starting too much.
Burnout: overdriving people.
Shortcuts: compromising quality.
Bottlenecks: failing to work to the constraints.
It’s all common sense.
